The gym will be closed THIS Saturday for our special Run & WOD for Vegas Veterans event!
The Vegas CrossFit Community is teaming up to show support to local charity Veteran’s Village who serve and care for local Veterans in need. In honor of Veteran’s Day we will come together for a great cause that could desperately use our support by providing nonperishable goods and water for Veteran’s Village. The management team of VV will invite local Veterans who utilize their services to witness our community show our respects through a Veterans Run to the facility as well as a short WOD upon arrival. They fought for our freedom, so its the least we can do by honoring these local heroes. Holiday season is upon us and the weather is starting to change and donations are deeply needed– rally with us to demonstrate and honor our respect and vigilance to those who have served so we can be free.
Location – Gold Spike DTLV
Time – 10a-Noon
Fee – At least 1 canned good
Run – 2 mile fun run
Workout – WOD – “11-12-2016”
– 11 Min Partner AMRAP:
– 12 Push-ups
– 20 Unbroken Double Unders / 40 Unbroken Single Jump Ropes
– 16 Air Squats
*Push-ups and Squats are to performed in-sync with partner.
**DU’s / Jump Rope performed 1 partner at a time. If either athlete messes up before reaching assigned reps, both athletes are to perform 3 BURPEES together (never leave a fallen soldier behind). One penalty per round.
